Discover the best of Belgium and the Netherlands on this leisurely seven-day cycling adventure from Brussels to Amsterdam. Combining easy, scenic cycling with exceptional beer experiences, this tour follows some of the finest cycling routes in Europe through historic cities, charming villages, riverside landscapes, and iconic Dutch countryside. Along the way, you'll enjoy visits to renowned breweries, sample local specialties, and experience the rich brewing traditions that have made both countries famous worldwide.

Day 1: Brussels

Arrive in Brussels for a bike fitting and welcome dinner before a good nights rest. We ride in the morning.

Day 2: Brussels to Mechelen

Your journey begins in Belgium's vibrant capital. After a tour briefing, cycle along quiet canal paths and dedicated bike routes to the historic city of Mechelen. Once the capital of the Burgundian Netherlands, Mechelen boasts beautiful architecture, lively squares, and a growing craft beer scene. Enjoy your first evening exploring this charming Flemish city.

Day 3: Mechelen to Antwerp

Today’s ride follows peaceful cycling paths through the Flemish countryside to Antwerp, one of Europe's great port cities. Known for its stunning cathedral, historic old town, and thriving culinary scene, Antwerp is also home to excellent breweries and beer cafés. A brewery visit or tasting offers a perfect introduction to Belgium's world-famous brewing heritage.

Day 4: Antwerp to Breda

Leaving Belgium behind, cross into the Netherlands via flat and traffic-free cycling routes. Ride through nature reserves, forests, and agricultural landscapes before arriving in the welcoming city of Breda. This lively Dutch city combines historic charm with a relaxed atmosphere and excellent local beer culture.

Day 5: Breda to Gouda

Cycle through the heart of the Dutch countryside, following rivers, canals, and traditional polder landscapes. Windmills, grazing cattle, and picturesque villages create a quintessential Dutch backdrop. Arrive in Gouda, famous for its namesake cheese but also increasingly recognized for its craft brewing scene. The city's beautifully preserved medieval center is ideal for an evening stroll.

Day 6: Gouda to Leiden

Today's route showcases some of the Netherlands' most beautiful cycling terrain. Quiet cycle paths lead through green meadows, alongside canals, and past historic farms. Reach Leiden, one of the country's most attractive cities, known for its canals, university heritage, and vibrant cultural life. Enjoy local beers in one of the city's many welcoming cafés.

Day 7: Leiden to Amsterdam

Your final cycling day takes you through the scenic landscapes of South and North Holland. Depending on the season, you'll pass colorful flower fields, tranquil waterways, and traditional Dutch villages. Arrive in Amsterdam, where centuries of brewing history meet a dynamic modern craft beer culture. Celebrate the completion of your journey with a brewery visit or farewell beer tasting in one of the city's renowned breweries or beer halls.

Day 8: Departure from Amsterdam

After breakfast, the tour concludes in Amsterdam. Extend your stay to explore the city's world-famous museums, canals, and historic neighborhoods, or continue your travels with memories of an unforgettable cycling and beer adventure.
