Trip Itinerary

Day one - Stuttgart to Esslingen ~17 Kilometers
This morning we will gather at the in Stuttgart to adjust our bikes and start our adventure. After everything is set we will start our ride to Esslingen. Todays ride is short and allows for lots of time to explore Esslingen and the surrounding area.

Tonight we will have dinner at a local biergarten to start the trip right.

Day two - Esslingen to Tübingen ~48 Kilometers
Todays ride takes us to the university village of Tübingen. We will arrive with enough time to explore the village and sample beers at two breweries if desired. You will have plenty of time to explore the small towns and beer gardens along the way.

After our breakfast we will wander through the countryside to the Albquell Brauhaus our hotel and brewery for the evening. Along the way we will visit Schloss Litchenstein.

Day four - Trochtelfingen to Ehingen ~54 Kilometers
Today is another day of great rural and small village cycling through Germany. Cycling through the mountain valleys we will stop for a picnic along the way and sample some yummy german brew. This is one of the more beautiful rides on the trip. We will have a trail side picnic lunch before finishing at a proper German in and pub.

Day five - Ehingen to Blaustein ~34km
Follow the Danube and the Blau rivers to the small village of at the the Blautopf and enjoy the beautiful blue waters and learn about the cave complex below. Take a stroll around the small village and monastery while here. After the Blautopf we will roll on to our brewery hotel and lodging for the evening.

The highlight of today is the city of Ulm, we will start early to allow for as much time as needed to visit the sites and highlights. After lunch we will continue on to our hotel in Zusmarshausen.

Day seven - Zusmarshausen to Odelzhausen ~56 Kilometers
One of my favorite rides of the trip. We through farm lands and countryside, maybe even see some hops being harvested depending on the time of year. We will finish our ride at our last Brewery stay of the trip. This evening we will be hosted by the brewery, dating back to the 1400s, with a tour and marvelous dinner for our last official meal together. This brewery has one of my favorite and most unique breweries. Our tour is at 17:00 so we will start early to allow for plenty of time in Augsburg as well.

Day eight - Odelzhausen to Munich ~40 Kilometers
Our final day we will roll into Munich finishing at a brewery and laughing about our trip. You have the option to extend your stay in Munich and take in the city or visit Oktoberfest depending on the time of year.
