Front Range Brewery sampler
Fort Collins, Boulder, Loveland, and Longmont
Adventure price: $1500 per person
This Beer & Bike exclusive front range adventure. On this trip we will be focused even more on the beer end of Beer and Bike tours than normal. We will be stopping and sampling beer at 3-5 breweries each day and learning more about the craft from the individuals who make Colorado's tasty craft beer. The riding on this trip is very casual and easy for even a beginner rider. Come along with us and learn what makes Colorado's front range the Napa of Craft Beer.
This Beer & Bike adventure is a 15 brewery ride along Colorado's front range. We will spend the days riding short distances between unique craft beers and taking a behind the scenes look at the industry and the stories behind each beer and brewery. We will connect the barley growers, maltsters, hop masters and brewmasters who make this craft so amazing.
Day 1 - Arrive in Fort Collins
This afternoon we will begin our Brewery experience with a tour of the Odell Brewing Company followed by a visit to Troubadour Maltings. We will then head over to Horse & Dragon Brewery and Funkwerks to learn how the Malt from troubadour is used to make a variety of wonderful brews. Dinner with the Brewer at Coopersmith's Brew Pub in Old Town Fort Collins
Day 2 - Fort Collins Brewery exploring
Today we will visit what I like to call the corridor of craft. We will visit Equinox, Black Bottle, Maxline, Gilded Goat and Zwei Brewing before heading over to the Jessup Farm Artesian village to sample beer from the Barrelhouse and have dinner at the Farmhouse there.
Day 3 - Fort Collins, Loveland, Berthoud and Longmont - 25 miles
Today we will transfer to the Verboten Brewing and Barrel Project for an early morning sample and pre-ride sampling of craft. From Verboten we will ride to the Berthoud Brewing company and tast a great small town brewery using locally sourced ingredients. After our tasting we will ride on to Longmont and visits to Wibby Brewing, 300 Suns Brewing and finishing at Left Hand for celebratory nitro goodness. After Left Hand we will be transferring to the CycleHops Cantina from Oskar Blues to eat and be merry. Following dinner we transfer to our hotel in Boulder.
Day 4 - Boulder Beer Safari(ok really just a ride but doesn't a Safari sound sweet?) Today the morning is yours to relax before we begin our Beer exploring at Avery Brewing just north of Boulder. From Avery we will ride over to Upslope Brewing and White Labs Boulder. After white labs we will make our way over to the Boulder Beer Company, the oldest craft brewery in Colorado. After Boulder beer we will have dinner and of course a couple beers at Twisted Pine.
